You deserve a treasurer who can bring a balanced perspec ve, a wide array of experience, and now a professional cer  ca on to the process of developing
those solu ons.
On a personal note, I’m married to a teacher, and together we have two daughters, who now see their Dad, not just advoca ng on the importance of educa on, but also willing to learn and improve.

  Clinton Township • Tax Facts by the Numbers
 With an es mated popula on of 100,712 (2017 es mate), we are the largest township and seventh-
largest community in Michigan by popula on
 Each tax season, we send over 30,000 tax bills
 In 2018, the average homestead tax bill was $1,874 for the summer and $1,202 for the winter
 Total tax collec ons for 2018 were more than $128 million (not including special assessments)
 These funds were distributed to:
 Schools (51%) or $65,950,758.22 to local school districts, the intermediate school district (MISD) and state educa on
 Township Services* (30%) or $38,167,011.41, or more speci cally:
 Fire Department (13%) or $16,314,006.60
 Police Department (15%) or $19,640,884.22
 Just 2%, or $2,212,120.59 funded all other Township opera ons like Parks and Recrea on, Public Works, Accoun ng, Assessing, IT, HR, Clerk, Elec ons, Treasurer, legal, etc. (excluding speci c water and sewer opera ons)
 All Others (19%) ($24,519,714.15) is funding for Macomb County, Macomb Community College, HCMA, SMART, the Detroit Zoo, Macomb County Veterans, the DIA, Mount Clemens Public Library, and Clinton Macomb Public Library
