Celebrate the warm weather of July by learning about your local parks. We will have information on our favorite parks along the riverfront, the two State Parks in Detroit, as well as ideas for fun activities to do in these parks. Complete your adventure after your visit to the OAC by stopping at one of these local areas!

WEDNESDAY, JULY 11 – FRIDAY, JULY 13 11:00 A.M. – 1:00 P.M. Michigan Mammals Week
Join us at the Outdoor Adventure Center during Mammals Week, while we highlight a few of the mammals that call Michigan their home and learn what makes them special. The OAC will feature teaching tables each day this week with information and activities about a few of these magnificent animals!

SATURDAY, JULY 14 1:00 – 3:00 P.M. Michigan Mammals Week – Track Casting
One of the many ways we can learn about mammals is to track them. Come on over to the Outdoor Adventure Center to learn more about mammal tracks and why we might study them. Make your very own mammal track casting to take home the same day.
