SATURDAY, APRIL 13 2:00 – 3:30 P.M. Egg-celent Adventure
We’ll celebrate the upcoming nesting season by exploring wild bird nests and eggs. Examine the materials of a real bird nest and explore how wild bird eggs compare to the familiar chicken egg. We’ll have crafts and story time for our young learners. You can even design your own wild bird egg to take home with you!

SUNDAY, APRIL 14 12:00 – 1:30 P.M National Astronomy Day
Camping out and not ready to end the night? Having a sleepover for the kids and ran out of ideas? We’re so excited for National Astronomy Day that we’re celebrating a week early! Learn how to read a constellation map and enjoy the stars on a night out. Create a starry craft so you can relish those constellations in your home.

SATURDAY, APRIL 20 2:00 – 4:00 P.M. Earth Day Extravaganza
The Earth is home to all of us, and it is so important that we take care of it! Join us this Earth Day to learn about the positive and negative impact that our everyday actions have on our planet. Guests will have the opportunity to participate in various family-friendly activities to help the Earth, including making reusable shopping bags from old t-shirts (bring your own t-shirt and get an earth-friendly prize!), sampling environmentally friendly cleaning products, and making a craft with recycled materials from Arts & Scraps!
Activities may vary throughout the duration of the event depending on the number of participants and available supplies.

Appreciate the beauty and importance of trees this Arbor Day at the Outdoor Adventure Center. Learn which trees are best suited for where you live, get some tips on where to buy native tree species for planting, and learn a bit about how to identify trees on your own!
