By aggregating or combining up, from the specific to the general, the codes were abstracted
into a set of dimensions that conceptually represented the most important aspects of the dialogue
topic as it started with examining ‘implicit bias’ as experienced by participants and facilitators.
The emergent dimensions represent the key experiences collected from participant and facilitator
volunteers. Dimensional analysis and a supporting explanatory matrix provided a framework for
conceptualizing raw interview data in the form of transcripts from codes to dimensions. The
dimensions resulting from the interview data were used to form theoretical propositions.
As the researcher, one goal in reviewing the data was to balance both the relationship that
the isolated field (Metasphere) provides with the other dimensions of social reality, and the
accumulation of knowledge available to the interpreter, gained from my WISR studies, or outside
