CARBON FREE FUELS - 100% GREEN
Langenburg’s synthetic diesel fuel is called ULTRA-BLU™ (aka: LT Ultra-Blu Fuel™
/ LT UltraFuel™) is a synthetic carbonless non-volatile liquid plasma, enriched with
serum hydrogen, oxygen, and compounds – combustible only while under
compression.
This zero-emission, water-soluble, non-toxic fuel is produced from wastewater
within Langenburg waste-to-energy systems. It is a replacement for traditional fossil
Diesel and Jet fuel and will store indefinitely without degradation. The fuel’s
hydrogen component is chemically inert, stable, and will not corrode or embrittle any
metal surface.
During combustion, the fuel’s heat density is 1.4 MMBTU/gallon with a heat-release
rate of 8-9 billion BTU/hr. Heat is released instantaneously because there is no
hydrocarbon bonding. The exhaust is exclusively non-toxic water vapor, with no
trace of nitrogen oxides, hydrocarbons, carbon monoxide/dioxide, and without any
other byproduct, particulate, smoke, pollutant, or residue. Its properties are
comparable to liquid hydrogen rocket fuel.
ULTRA-BLU™ is unlike other synthetic fuels such as Fischer-Tropsch Diesel
formulations containing carbon. Ammonia NH3 is the only other viable carbonless
fuel, however, it’s a toxic chemical with near-zero emissions and less than half the
heat density of common liquid hydrocarbon fuels.
Langenburg’s proprietary next-generation synthetic fuel is an authentically
sustainable clean fuel realizing clean energy solutions to gas and jet turbines and
for steam turbines, making it an ideal solution for retrofitting coal-fired or nuclear
power plants.
Comparison to Diesel and Jet Fuel
Langenburg’s capability allows the production of fuel with properties equivalent to
both Diesel and Jet, with an identical heat content of these long-chain hydrocarbons
formulas. The lubricant component of Diesel fuel includes paraffin that may thicken
and create problems in colder operational temperatures. Langenburg’s carbonless
synthetic liquid plasma fuel contains hydrogen, with a built-in oxidizer, and
compounds for lubrication.
