Dreams
Amma’s Dream 1969
Amma was in Jaffna (Chadiachere?) the day Samuel passed away. The following morning
Lakshman had driven over to give her the message and she had said (in tamil) “Oh that’s
why Aiyah called last night”
Later, we asked her what she said “I’d not thought of or dreamed of Aiyah for a long while.
But strangely he appeared to me in my dreams the night Samuel left us. He walked into
Amaragiri*. I was taken by surprise and to my questions he replied “I just dropped in to see
how you were”
Amma’s explanation – Aiyah had come down to take Samuel home.
*Amma was not at Amaragiri that night. She’d spent the day at a Relative’s home.
