MESSAGE FROM OUR

My dear Family,

I wish I were with you with a happy agenda. Unfortunately, the fires covering our country have created deep sorrows
for all of us, and they keep continuing and causing serious damages and loss of lives, even while I pen this letter for
you.

Houses are completely burned in many of our forest villages, income sources are destroyed and we lost our forests
that were our lungs.

Our Big Family has again shown high sensitivity and followed all the developments to ensure that the required aid is
transferred to the relevant places. Efforts are spent to ensure that emergent needs are provided immediately.

Certainly, after the fires are extinguished, our fundamental responsibility and service for the term will be to provide
support to our villagers who have suffered damages and to develop projects addressing theirwellbeing.

May it be over for our country, and we wish a speedy recovery to those wounded. We extend our condolences to the
families, and may God have mercy on those we have lost.

My Dear Family,

For Rotary, we have started the Month for Increased Membership.
IR has set the target for 30 June 2022 to reach 1.3 million Rotarians. We certainly support this global target. Our
prioritized aim is to keep the current number of our members for 1 July 2021 until 30 June 2022. We know that, as it
has been in every term, all our Clubs will be spending efforts to enroll new members also this term, aiming to include
new brains and strengths among us.

As shown by the statistics, every seven years in average, there is a change amounting to our total number of
members. This clearly shows that we cannot maintain our existing members. I have no doubt that in case we keep
our members we can exceed the global target.

Currently, we are in an excellent solidarity and organization, as it has been for disasters of all times. It is fortunate
that I am a Rotarian, and that I am together with you all.

I hope and wish that the fires are over, soonest possible.
