Le Wang
Le Wang is a Principal Research Scientist II at AbbVie. He received his Ph.D. in Chemistry from
Auburn University, where he studied under Professor Philip Shevlin. Since joining AbbVie
Oncology, Le’s research has focused on small molecule inhibitors of multiple protein classes,
including those in the BCL-2 family.
Xilu Wang
Xilu Wang is a Senior Scientist at AbbVie. He received his degrees in Chemistry from Lanzhou
University. Since joining AbbVie Oncology in 2000, Xilu’s research has focused on the small
molecular inhibitors for BCL-2 family proteins such as Bcl-2, Bcl-xL and Mcl-1.
Michael Wendt
Mike Wendt is an Associate Research Fellow at AbbVie. He received his Ph.D. in Chemistry from
Yale, working in the Jerry Berson group. Mike has been in AbbVie Oncology for 25 years, focusing
on small molecule BCL-2 family inhibitors and other PPI targets.
