Per Lindblom
Per Lindblom is the Director for Global Project Management at AstraZeneca in Sweden. Per holds
a M.S. and Ph.D. from Gothenburg University, Sweden. Per did his post-doc research at
Cancer Research UK, and joined AstraZeneca in 2006 in the Safety Assessment department.
Peggy McCann
Peggy is an Executive Director in Regulatory CMC at HUTCHMED International Corporation.
She received her B.S. in Chemistry from Kansas State University and M.S. in Organic Chemistry
from Indiana University. Her work experience includes more than 30 years in the pharmaceutical
industry, including drug discovery chemistry and Regulatory CMC.
Wei Meng
Wei Meng received his Chemistry degrees from University of Science and Technology of China
and Stanford University. His Ph.D. thesis was titled ‘The Total Synthesis of Taxol and Analogs’.
From 1999, Wei worked on cardiovascular, metabolic and fibrotic diseases drug discovery at BMS
and is currently a Scientific Associate Director.
Daniele Paone
Daniele Paone has a chemistry degree from Milan University with specialization in Inorganic and
Metal-organic Chemistry. Daniele is currently the Global Vice President Forxiga at AstraZeneca
based in Gaithersburg, MD, USA.
