Bruce Ellsworth
Bruce completed B.S. and Ph.D. studies in Chemistry at SUNY-Oswego and UC-Berkeley,
respectively. After postdoctoral studies at UC Irvine, he joined Bristol Myers Squibb in
1998 in Metabolic Diseases Discovery Chemistry, including a rotation in Process Research.
He is currently Senior Director, Head of Fibrotic Diseases Discovery Chemistry.
Karen From
Karen From is the Global Franchise Head, Forxiga, at AstraZeneca. Karen is accountable for the
strategic leadership of the cross-functional Global Franchise Team and ensuring alignment between
development, manufacturing, and commercialization strategy for Forxiga across indications
through the brands life cycle. Karen holds an M.S. in Biology from the University of Gothenburg.
Nayyar Iqbal
Nayyar Iqbal is a physician-endocrinologist who is currently a Vice President for Clinical Development
in Cardiovascular, Renal and Metabolism at AstraZeneca Pharma.
Anna Maria Langkilde
Anna Maria Langkilde is the Global Clinical Head, CVRM, at AstraZeneca.
