When a Knot is
NOT a Knot
It’s pretty easy to spot someone who doesn’t know how to
tie a proper knot. You’ve probably seen someone tie knot
on top of knot thinking they are actually making it stronger.
Maybe you’ve even been guilty of this a time or two and
that’s OK. The fact that you’re taking the time to read this
book means you realize there is a huge difference between
properly tying a knot and merely making a jumbled mess
of a piece of rope. In figure 10, you see an example of this.
