Pros: It’s very easy to tie and often easier to untie than a
simple overhand knot. The knot also has more bulk than the
simpler overhand knot.
Cons: Depending on the type of cordage this knot is tied
in, if the rope is put under a load, it can be difficult to untie.
How to tie it:
1. Form an overhand loop as illustrated in figure 13a.
