Now I Know and this is what I Think…
Certain things in nature help to define a place, for example, weather and
temperature, plant and animal life, land and soil. Similarly, people and
cultures also help in defining a place. For example, which languages do
people speak, how do they dress, what do they eat, how they move from one
place to another, homes they live in and so on.
Think about your own community and what defines it as a place. Imagine
that you work for the tourism office of your place (city/town). Draw a poster
to include as many natural and cultural characteristics of your place to attract
tourists from all over the world, to celebrate the diversity in your part of
the world.
