 Write down at least four caring
acts that you can practise in your
daily life.

• Social Science: Learners can be taught how vegetables are grown,

procured and sold in the market.
• Maths: Arithmetic operations can be taught through this chapter.

Word problems reinforcing the value of compassion can be given.

For example: You are raising funds for an old-age home. If each
one in your class contributes ` 50, how much will the class be able
to collect?
