UP AND AWARE - 6
Situation 2: Your parents are upset because they have received a high electricity bill.
They want you to switch off lights, fans, computers and other electrical devices when not in
use, over the next one month. You promise them that you would do so but forget about it
the next day. The next month your parents get a high electricity bill again. They ask you if
you had followed their instructions. What would you say?
Situation 3: You have done badly in your maths test. Your teacher gives you another
chance to improve your grades and allows you to re-take the test after two weeks. You don’t
study for the re-test and perform badly again. What would you say to your teacher?
Share your answers with the class. Talk about the different ways and things you could do
to be responsible in the above situations.
