UP AND AWARE - 6

Exercise:

All learners sit in a circle.
A robbery has been committed and one suspect has been caught. All
learners get to be a detective and a suspect.

The detective asks a question (the same question is repeated through
the game) and the suspect has to repeat what the last person says and

has to add one more piece of information.

1. Starting with the first learner, he/she becomes a detective first and
asks the learner on his/her right, ‘Tell me everything you did all day
yesterday.’

2. The second learner (suspect) answers something like, ‘I woke up at
10 a.m.’

3. The second learner now becomes the detective and asks the question
to the third learner on his/her right, ‘Tell me everything you did all

day yesterday.’

4. The third learner is now the suspect and answers, ‘I woke up at
10 a.m.’ and then adds something like, ‘I ate a banana for breakfast.’

5. The game goes on and every suspect has to listen carefully and
include all the previous answers.

6. Add unusual and funny information to make this activity interesting.
