In the story ‘Hafiz Mian’, you read about the protagonist’s mastery
at tailoring. Do you know that every year millions of garments are
discarded as they become out of fashion? All these garments end up
in the landfills and cause environmental degradation. Nowadays, many
NGOs help take our old clothes and donate them to those who could
use them.

Organise one such collection drive in your school. You can all bring

your old clothes for donation. Remember that they are in good
shape to be worn. Your teacher could get in touch with an NGO
and arrange for the donation. Write a notice imparting the details
of the drive, mentioning that this would not only save space in the
closets, but also prevent environmental degradation and reduce waste
generation. Furthermore, this will help those who need the clothes.
