Activity 3 Creative Thinking Art
Integration
Clay art is the process of creating things out of clay. It may take various
forms including artistic pottery, tableware, figurines and many more. It
not only helps in expression of one’s creativity but also promotes self-
confidence and develops problem solving skills.
1. Imagine you are a king in the Mauryan period and you want to
introduce some seals in your state for trading. Take inspiration from
the seals you have already studied about in your book and design
some by using clay for your imaginary kingdom. Present your seals in
the class and discuss what you have tried to represent in them.
2. How was your experience with clay art? Pen down your thoughts in a
brief note.
