As a Chinese American, Wen grew up eating a lot of plant-based protein. People throughout Asia
have been eating all types of bean products for 3000 years and enjoy long, active lives. She wants
to live the healthiest life possible and discovered through her own personal health journey that diet,
exercise and meditation are the basis of good health. Wanting to make this natural path and its
benefits available to more people she founded the House of Leaf & Bean.
Since it's inception in 2017 this organic café-style restaurant has
supported health living by making simple, fresh, organic meals
delicious and affordable.The House of Leaf & Bean serves only
USDA certified organic food and drink: including lunch, dinner,
as well as snacks, tea blends (for special health needs), coffee,
smoothies, wine, beer and more. Many unique items were
designed for people with special diets (e.g. gluten-free, dairy-
free, vegan, low-carb, etc.) including low-carb GF pizza, GF
cookies, and freshly made tofu and soy milk. With a convenient
drive thru window, customers can get organic, handmade items
on-the-go.
Wen makes her own fresh soymilk and tofu from organic (non-
GMO) soy beans following traditional Chinese recipes. This
makes her one of only a few tofu producers in the United States!
It is very different to the store-bought brands and is extremely
popular.
Host your next event here. It's a great place for rehearsal
dinners, workshops, birthdays, showers, cocktail parties,
luncheons and educational events.
