Negative effects of blue screen
You probably know your parents have been saying you don’t sit to close to blue screens like television or phone or
computer or have been saying don’t watch it all day it will damage your eyes even though our parents didn’t know the real reason
behind danger back then. Nowadays parents from the past would be surprised by how much teenagers and adults spend time in
front of screens. Whether you're browsing your social media watching Netflix or making stuff for school you spend time on all of
these activities.
These days digital blue screens have become a huge part of our life. And we should be aware of this because it can have
effects on our body. Because of this addiction to blue screens eye doctors have been starting to feel so worried about the effects
of this blue light on our health, especially on the health of the eyes. Technology is evolving very fast and people didn’t even think
that technology would evolve these fast a few years ago and now it’s evolving very fast. Mobile phones act more like a computer
it can make documents and other important work files and a lot of people could not even think what we do if life would be if we
didn’t have internet, email, and chat features on our phones. Even the tv, movies, video games have evolved and each of them
offers consumers a wide array of choices and new possibilities. When people get their sleep schedule of time it's very hard to
catch back up and that’s why people get grumpy and mad. Most people as they get older get worse eyes. This is because of the
blue screen time. People spend too much time on the blue screen and it causes worse eyes. This blue light puts a major strain on
the eye which is terrible for anyone. And screen syndrome is starting to get very popular because of this new generation. The kids
get devices too early and become addicted. It's going to cost them in the future. When people's eyes feel sore or tired in the
morning that is because they have found out that they have spent too much time in front of blue screens.
Other effects of blue light are headache and dizziness. And also, 50 percent of teens admit that they are addicted to their
mobile phones and twenty seven percent of their parents admit they cannot put down their cellphones either. Blue light has a
wavelength of 380 nm to 500 nm which means it is one of the shortest highest energy wavelengths that a human can feel. These
waves penetrate deep into the eyes and create a glaring effect which results in irritation and strain. People need to reduce the
time that they spend on the mobile phone so they can save their eyes from a blue screen for the future because it will help them
in the long run. Technology has been around for a very long time and will do nothing but improve. Technology in the future will
take over everything. It is going to reduce the number of work people will have to do. People need to reduce the amount of blue
screen time to save their lives. People should want to live a good healthy life so they can live longer. The amount of screen time
people produces these days needs to be reduced no matter what so the economy can still grow.
