Music's Impact on

People/Culture/Society

Music is one of the essential factors of life. We all start to listen to music when we are newborns which are
named ‘lullabies.’ You can’t expect some actions without music, even if there will be music playing at your

funeral.
Then how does music affect people?

People have different music tastes from each other, which means they like different kinds of music

genres. The music we are listening to can show our daily habits, characters, and emotions, and even affect
them. Listening to cheerily, hyping music can awaken you when you are in a bad mood. Some of them can

make you fall asleep when you’re troubling insomnia.

These effects then can affect society. For example, when you had an argument with your friend and both
of you were really stressed. After listening to calming music, it will reduce your stress and make you

apologize. Like this, the reaction enlarges and covers society. Maybe you noticed that most people’s music

tastes are different, based on their generation.

Music from past times can show the lifestyle and

distinctions of those times.

Because of this, in some countries, music is one of the traditions. The biggest example of this is a national

rhythm. That music has made big contributions to publicizing the country. You can travel through a

country just by its national music.
In conclusion, music was in our lives from the beginning even though we didn’t know, and it occupies a

big estate that will never be forgotten until we die.
