trying on a tattered pirate’s hat he’d found when an old
piece of crumpled paper ?uttered out of it.

Claudia unfolded the paper and shouted, “A map!
It could be to Blackheart’s lost treasure!”

“So let’s go treasure hunting!” the Travel Bug

said. It magically pulled a ring of old keys out of the air
and put a long silver one into a slot next to the helm.

The Grand Nautica hummed to life, and went
driving across the sand. After several miles, the
treasure hunters came around a corner and were
surprised to ?nd a band of monkeys jumping,
screeching, and chasing each other around the beach.
Wanting to understand what they were saying, Claudia
                                      quickly turned on the Yak-Yak.

“Hello,” called a monkey wearing a bright
pink turban with a long purple feather. “I’m Captain

Feather-Cap and these are my three mates.
                                              Where are you off to?”

                                                      “We’re looking for Blackheart’s
                                               treasure!” said Claudia.

“Well,” said the captain, smiling very big
and winking at the other monkeys. “We know this
island like the back of our paws. We can help you
                                search.”

Claudia and Craig looked at the rowdy group.
The monkeys were all smiling, but something

                                    about them didn’t feel right.
