HOD – EHS
Dear MPW-IND Team,
Happy to reach you through the third consecutive monthly HSE magazine KICHO, hope the intended purpose is served
as we reach all and create the required awareness and knowledge.
It's unfortunate that we had reported the first major / Reportable / Lost time injury in our works, the investigation
opened up many opportunities where we can improve as an organisation in safety performance. We must
reassure that we shall not allow any more major injury in our scope of works. It's all our responsibility to ensure
safe work environment for our workers.
As expressed in last KICHO magazine by Takakura San, and Poor Housekeeping identified as the major cause for
the major injury reported, we shall drive the implementation of 5S in all our site with all your support. We firmly
believe this shall eradicate many unsafe conditions exist in our sites.
Also to give importance for the Housekeeping and get required and continuous focus, we include a parameter in
our RED DIAMONDS – HSE performance evaluation from October itself. The methodologies and evaluation
methodologies shall be defined in the meantime.
As we are nearing the India's major festival Deepawali, we wish you all a happy and safe Deepawali. Celebrate the
festival utmost safely and environment friendly as much as possible.
