3) Falling practice (Focus on keeping head from touching the ground and relaxing the body)

a. Falling forward (focus landing onto forearms)
b. Falling Backwards (focus landing onto butt and rolling back while slapping
ground with forearms)
4) Review Day1 material
a. Standing (face opponent while moving backwards and putting one leg under you
as you stand up)
b. Establishing stance (Just like kicking stance, place right leg in back and keep
hands up, but keep hands open (closed fists are aggressive and increase the
potential for a fight)
c. Punch defense: Peri and push (peri punches with both right and left hands, and
push shoulders)
d. Kicking defense: Side step and basic sparring practice
Junior Class: Purple – Up Day1 & Day2
1) Balance Based warmup with ninja roll practice (Balance is very important for taekwondo
martial artists especially for self-defense purposes & ninja rolls help with standing faster)
2) Falling Practice
a. Falling forward (focus landing onto forearms)
b. Falling into forward ninja roll (focus on keeping momentum in forward direction)
c. Falling Backwards (focus landing onto butt and rolling back while slapping
ground with forearms)
d. Falling into backward ninja roll (focus on turning head and rolling on shoulder
e. Kip up? (Good for intimidation)
