TIP S F OR PRESENTER S
1. AIR CHECK YOUR SHOWS
It is important that presenters and their production teams come together to air-check or review
their show once it has ended.
When presenting live radio, you may not always be conscious of whether something sounded
right or not as it happens. Whether it be a live read, a comment or a transition from one segment
to another, your impression of how it sounded in real time often changes when you listen back to
the show.
As a Presenter you should have a clear idea of how you want your show to sound and flow.
Conducting an air-check at the conclusion of every show will tell you whether you are on track.
