HOW TO USE THIS RESOURCE
The FOOTSCRAY LIVE Media Training Resource is available online
at www.makingmedia.com.au/footscray-live-media-training. The
password for access is FCC.
The resource consists of this Teacher Handbook, five Student
Modules, and a downloadable pack of interactive student
worksheets, referenced throughout this handbook and student
modules.
The Teacher Handbook outlines the project brief, advice on
student roles, and the broadcasting codes of practise that
students will adhere to. The Student Modules provide an online
reference for students about each of the roles of Presenter.
Producer, and Marketing and Promotion Co-ordinator.
This online resource is designed to complement the practical
training that students will participate in.
Before you start, download the interactive student worksheets
that accompany this resource.
USING FOOTSCRAY LIVE FOR YOUR TEACHING AND LEARNING
If you decide to use this resource as part of your teaching and
learning program, it is recommended that you introduce the
project with the Our Challenge Student Module which outlines the
class challenge and student goals.
Once you have introduced the project, you should then spend
time getting your students familiar with each radio station role
and codes of practise by using the other modules available as a
