“On September 3rd, I was able to present the Duffy Award to
Sen. Charles Grassley at a function that was being held in
Davenport, Iowa. The unique part of the function was that
Sen. Grassley’s grandson, Pat Grassley, who is the Speaker of
the Iowa House was also in attendance, so he was able to
observe the presentation.

What’s particularly interesting about the award was Sen.

Grassley, while a congressman in 1978, attended a Hit the Hill
in Washington D.C. At the time, John Duffy was serving as President of NCISS. The attached picture is
