UPDATED 2020 Elections Update – Nominations Slate

Members,

This spring, as the Nominating Committee was prepared to announce the final slate of election
candidates, the Annual Meeting was canceled due to developing circumstances. The elections were
intended to be moved to the fall Mid-Term Meeting, setting aside a day for the Annual Meeting and
elections. As these plans were being finalized, the meeting was canceled because of continuing
circumstances and uncertainty.

As directed by President Andrea Orozco, and approved by the Board, the Nominating Committee has
communicated with all nominees on the original slate, confirming their interest and commitment to
serving on your Board. Per the Bylaws, the Committee did solicit membership for nominations. It is
exciting to have several new members to the Board from the growing membership.

The following are the positions for the 2020 elections and nominations slate:

Officers (one-year term)

President – Wes Bearden (presently 1 Vice President)

1 Vice President – Lisa Turley (presently 3 Vice President)

2 Vice President – Tina Thomas (presently Region 5 Director)

3 Vice President – Paul Cicarella

Directors (two-year term expiring 2020)
Region 4 – Kelly Riddle (presently holds position)
Region 5 – Brandon Knott (new to Board)
Region 6 – Kelly Cory (presently holds position)
(there are six Region Directors positions – 4-6 expire in 2020, and 1-3 expire in 2021; and every
two years)

At Large – Dean Gluth (presently holds position)
At Large – Jim Nanos (new to Board)
(there are four At Large positions – two expire in 2020 and two expire in 2021; and every two
years)
