               PARTNERING WITH ASSET PROTECTION


               SUSPECTED STORING/UNDERSTOCKING


               •  When an employee sets aside or hides merchandise in the backroom, or on the sales floor, with
                   the intent  to purchase it later
                     o  GM to investigate
                            •  First incident: Documented coaching (no HR involvement required)
                            •  Additional incidents: Work with HR on corrective action
                     o  If incident involves a member of leadership, HR and AP will be involved and corrective action
                        will be escalated.

               SUSPECTED REPRICING/STASHING WITH INTENT

               •  When an employee alters the price of an item with the intent to purchase, or when an employee
                   stashes an item with a clear intention of bypassing the register (example: outside, in their bag, in
                   their locker, etc.)
                     o  GM to contact both HR and AP
                     o  AP to review video footage
                     o  AP to conduct an investigation
                     o  AP to send HR and GM the findings from investigation and video
                     o  HR and GM/DM to determine employment actions based on findings

               SUSPECTED THEFT

               •  GM to contact both HR and AP immediately
                     o  HR to notify DM/HRD
               •  AP to review video footage
               •  AP to conduct an investigation
               •  AP to send HR and GM the findings from investigation and video
               •  HR and GM/DM to determine employment actions based on findings

               VIDEO FOOTAGE IS NEEDED FOR AN INVESTIGATION NOT RELATED TO THEFT OF PROPERTY
               OR MONEY

               •  Contact HR to discuss.
               •  HR to contact AP and share only the necessary details to preserve the integrity of the investigation,
                   as well as to protect confidential details.
