Janice B. Patterson

Janice Patterson has been a Girl Scout through all phases of
her life, beginning as a Brownie in second grade and continuing
through high school, working as a troop leader as a young
mother with a daughter in scouting, serving as a professional
staff member during her middle years, and mentoring a
daughter who has led a granddaughter’s troop from Daisies to
Seniors. Janice, who is a life member, has always gained special
pleasure from sharing the beauty and wonder of the natural
world with young suburban scouts whose daily experiences did
not include a lot of outdoor activity.

Pam Perry

Pam was a school teacher as well as a troop leader, trainer,
frequent committee member and Secretary of the Lake Erie
Council Board of Trustees. She was in large part the founder
of the Scouting in Schools Program. The Pam Perry Award for
Best New Sis Leader was named in her honor. She had a sense
of humor big enough to make us all laugh with her and a heart
big enough to make us all love her!
