Pat Koch
Pat has been a Girl Scout for 50+ years and has dedicated her
energy and vision to support the Girl Scout movement in all
she does. As a past-President, she served the north in ways
too numerous to mention (Lake Erie). She also served as a
National Operational Volunteer and parliamentarian. She has
shared her love of Girl Scouting with her two daughters, and her
granddaughter who loves earning badges.

Kay Krakora
Kay Krakora is an all around Girl Scout. She has led a Brownie
troop, worked with the unit cookie team sorting boxes for troops
and was a TSD for many years. Kay shepherded the unit through
many encampments including one that was snowed on and
one that required hundreds of kleenex carnations to be made
and strung into leis, and of course Kay was making carnations.
Kay was a guide at unit meetings, always letting others speak
frst, but she had a frm hand on all activities. Thank you, Kay,
for all your devotion to the Brecksville - Broadview Heights Unit.

Jan Larsen
I met Jan as a trainer and Service Unit volunteer when I frst
became an “02.” Her calm demeanor and confdence made
me believe that I could do this, even if sometimes I felt I had
no more room in my life for another commitment . She never
forgot the fun in Girl Scouts and went out of her way make sure
events like “Mission Possible” took place, even if it meant she
had to shoulder a lot of the burden . She quietly did the work
that helped build the Strongsville Service unit into one of the
GSNEO’s very best – something that I now fully appreciate .
Thanks Jan!
