Wilma Lister

I am nominating Wilma Lister because she was my leader in
the nineteen forties until 1958. She nurtured us all the way thru
until we graduated from High School. She taught us about all
the embodiment to the Girl Scout movement. We did badges,
we camped at Julia Crowell and Margaret Bates when it frst
became available. We did our progression in the out of doors
and cooking over fres. Many of us became First Class scouts
and did service projects. I married early and when my oldest
daughter joined as a junior I became a leader and Wilma worked
as a professional. I leaned that she was active as a neighborhood
chairman, the volunteered at the council level in Lake Erie and
I think she was even on the board. I can think of no one who
embodies the Girl Scout movement more then Wilma Lister.

Dot MacIntyre

This silver trefoil is given in honor of my friend, Dot MacIntyre.
Dedicated to the ideals of Girl Scouting, she has respect for our
history and looks to and works for our future. An enthusiastic
volunteer, former troop leader and super “mud” camper, she
gets the work done, still smiling. Dot is a friend to all and a sister
to every other Girl Scout.

Virginia Maynard

Virginia was a dedicated, competent and caring staff member
who made her mark in Girl Scouting. She had a strong belief
in Girl Scout volunteers and did her very best to assist them
in their myriad of endeavors as they pursued their hopes and
achieved their goals. The Virginia Maynard Memorial Fund was
established to provide scholarships for volunteer training.
