Dorothy DeBlase

A tribute to my dear mother who volunteered as the assistant
leader for my Girl Scout Troop 799 in Sharon, PA in the mid-
1960s. It was a great time of learning and discovery. Having her
there as a leader was a formative experience. I was very proud
to have her as a leader. It is an experience we will always share
and just added to our relationship.

Inga Duktig
As one of the original mounted Girl Scouts, Inga was obviously
adventuresome, and that spirit of Girl Scouting has survived
throughout the years. Her spirit of friendship and caring is a true
refection of the Girl in Girl Scouting.

Mary Lou Bragg Fulgrabe

Mary Lou was Program Director when I signed on as a Field
Director, just out of college. For the next 3 years, Mary Lou was
my mentor. She showed me how to get around in unfamiliar
territory, what was important and what was not, who I should
talk to to get things moving and generally to me she was a
surrogate mother as well. Mary Lou was always human and real.
She did not hide her down days and she shared the good days.
Her many years on the Erie Shores Council staff verify that she
was loved.
