Phyllis Beiswenger

Phyllis Beiswenger was a leader, outdoor trainer, member of
many committees, and chair of the committee that planned
the Ruth Weigand Memorial Building at Camp Lejnar. A wing of
that building was named for her when she died too young. She
planned her own Girl Scout funeral.

Marni Braeunig

Marni was one of the hardest working and sincere promoters for
Girl Scouts in Sandusky. She knew, during her long association
with Girl Scouts, a great number of Sandusky residents. She
seemed tireless in her goal to make it possible for every girl in
Sandusky to become a Girl Scout. As a feld director, she was
one of my mentors when I was hired by Erie Shores Council.

Sharon Cadena

“I don’t do camping.” That was the frst thing out of Sharon’s
mouth when I told her about the Girl Scout troop that was
forming. She quickly added though, that she would do anything
else. She was our long standing cookie mom, chaperone and
internet sleuth – there was no craft material that she could not
fnd at rock bottom prices. She did a lot of “anything else” over
the years. This year, when someone needed to step forward
and take the helm of the troop – she did so without hesitation
and gave me the opportunity to move on knowing the troop
would be in good hands. My deepest thanks to Sharon.
