Nancy Straughter

Nancy was always there for us, no matter the question, the
problem, or the direction. She became more than a staff
member, she became a friend. She had the ability to quietly
guide a group of Girl Scout Leaders down the right road and
make them think it was all their idea. Nancy always made sure
any scout or adult was able to attend an event, making sure
they were given a scholarship if needed. She made working
with Council a pleasure. She is a friend for life. The best kind to
have-loyal, kind, considerate, and thoughtful! Nancy’s the best.

Susan Troike

Sue Troike is the Lorain Offce Administrative Assistant for
The Girl Scouts of North East Ohio, with a cheerful greeting
and special help for staff, volunteers and visitors. Sue is greatly
appreciated for her wealth of Girl Scout knowledge about
programs (Gold Award daughter), adults, troops, service units
and trainers as well as facilities and staff operations. She has
been a Girl Scout trainer with her husband who is passionate
about the outdoors. Both are lifetime Girl Scout members.
