Eleanore Margolis

Eleanore Margolis is a 60 year member and is still an active
Girl Scout. She has worn many hats, troop leader, Service Unit
Director, council, board member and council president. She is
a member of the North Region Alumnae Steering Committee.
She is always ready to help whenever needed in any Girl Scout
activity.

Clara McCann

St. James A.M.E. Girl Scouts would like to thank Mrs. Clara
McCann for her continuous support for the past 12 years.
Noted this year 2012 Girl Scouts Cookie Drive was special. After
purchasing her standard yearly cookie order, Mrs. McCann was
asked to purchase troops left over cases from our cookie drive.
Reason was, the St. James Girl Scouts were planning a trip to
the 100th Anniversary of Girl Scouts USA in Washington D.C.
Mrs. McCann purchased all the left over cases of cookies. Also,
Mrs. McCann asked if the cookie proft was enough to pay for
motor coach transportation. She offered to make a donation
for the balance needed for the tranportation. The St. James
Girl Scouts plus two other troops were able to go to Washington
D.C. June 8-10, 2012. Mrs. McCann goes far beyond purchasing
GS Cookies. For example, she was responsible for the St. James
troop being invited to perform the opening fag ceremony for
the American Association of University Women meeting and
attend the career workshops given by the association. Mrs.
Clara McCann embraces the Girl Scout mission statement of
building girls of courage, confdence and character.
