Elizabeth Nedrich (Betty)

Betty has been an active volunteer for at least 40 years. She
has taken a leadership role from the troop level to council
events level. Her attention to detail and her commitment to the
Girl Scout program have been an inspiration to those she has
worked with. Especially noteworthy is her current membership
on the Gold Award Committee. She has worked to strengthen
the program by mentoring girls through the decision making
process to the completion of their project.

Sally Parker

Sally was a camper at Julia Crowell who moved into a tent with
a camper visiting from another council when her tentmate
became sick. There was a thunderstorm and I believe that they
were both struck and killed by the lightning. Very sad but moving
still.
