Thank you very much to the CDNIS community for a wonderful 5 years. It truly Neil Anderson
is the people in this building that make it the special place that it is, even when
none of us are actually in the building! Ms. Liu and I will miss this beautiful city,
living on the island, and adventuring around; never a dull day. I’ll miss the
great people that haunt the Humanities Department; the chats, collaboration,
the guidance and support. A comradery that I fear will be irreplaceable.
I’ll miss the students - so friendly and enthusiastic - who simply made teaching
fun. I’ll miss working with Mr. Kahu and mentoring Mr. Lee, my partners in
teaching every year I was here.
Peace, love, and Blue Jays, Mr. Anderson
It is very difficult to say goodbye
to CDNIS. I have worked here for
4 years and have had the
experience to work with Lower
School and Upper Schools. They

are awesome. I am very happy to
work with such an incredible
team, they are very professional
and very enthusiastic. I will miss
my students and my colleagues. I
will stay in Hong Kong and spend
more time with my family and
friends. I will enjoy the free time I
have ahead of time.

TRIM LINE TRIM LINE As an academic support teacher, I've worked in Lower School classes over the last 5 years. I also TRIM LINE TRIM LINE
facilitated the Lower School Roots and Shoots program (inspired by Jane Goodall). I've been
teaching since 1985; and consequently, my heart is joyfully filled with memories of working with
many, many children, including the children at CDNIS. I'm moving to beautiful Italy, where I'll
follow another great passion: Environmental education. I'll be "retired" from teaching in a school,
but never retired from learning and teaching. I'll continue to work with children and adults,
guiding them to explore and protect our natural world.

An unforgettable experience. Despite not
being able to jet-set and fly to neighboring
countries and live the Instagrammable life
of an international educator, I am grateful
for the opportunity the last two years have
provided me. Thank you to the CDNIS
community for being welcoming and
supportive. I have made life-long friends
and worked with some of the most
hard-working and brightest students. It
has been wonderful to explore Hong
Kong, eat my way through the wide
selection of vegetarian restaurants,
discover the different displays during the
holidays, and capture the quirky
personalized vanity plates. Next stop:
home to California.
