TRIM LINE TRIM LINE

Life is an endlessly turning wheel, always moving forward. I am grateful for a Jessie Au
respectable career in an excellent school. In my 23 years of teaching here, there have
been moments of exhaustion and immense satisfaction. I carry with me many life-long
memories as I make a graceful exit from teaching and move on to explore the next
chapter of my life.
I will be living for myself in retirement, doing things I love to do. I will exercise, travel,
watch lots of movies on YouTube, and most importantly, watch my grandchildren
growing up. I am sure I will be a gentle grandma. I hope my daily life will be orderly.

Whenever anybody asks me about my life in Hong Kong, I tell
them that the last (almost) three years have been the most Shalyn Tharayil
exciting and growth-filled years of my life. Joining CDNIS
changed my life completely. I have never been more challenged,
inspired, and motivated to grow in my role as a counsellor and
continue to be better, every day. I am grateful for this

community and for the amazing CDNIS students who I have
worked with. I will miss you all very much!

Here it is! Time to say good bye CDNIS. I
thought I would be here for a little longer Christina Lin
but I'm also very much looking forward
to what's to come :) I truly enjoy every
single day working with CDNIS students
and staff. The great memories from
winning the Halloween door decoration
contests, weekly trivia, homeroom
volleyball... I would like to use this
chance to say a BIG THANK YOU to all
of my G7 and G8 students for being
awesome, and making goodbye so
difficult! I hope everyone in CDNIS had a
wonderful year despite everything else
