The Stobi Winery
The Stobi Winery consists of multiple vineyards accounting for 600 hectares of gentle slopes
on 70% rendzina soil (rich containing limestone); with vines ranging from 5yrs to 40yrs. High
quality wines are crafted by successfully combining traditional production methods with its
leading technological infrastructure of £16m to exacting standards.

Dane Jovanov Wine Maker
Dane Jovanov has traveled widely in pursuit of his craft,
visiting the regions of Bordeaux, Italy and South Africa.
In 2005 he received his wine making degree from his
home town University of Skopje, Macedonia. His
ongoing development includes a PhD. in micro and
macro oxygenation and the impact on oak in wine
making. Dane is committed to creating the best wines
possible that reflect the terroir of Tikveš. He uses his
experience to get the best from both the indigenous
and international varieties, which are both used at the
Stobi winery.
Gjoko Jovanov Wine Maker
Gjoko is Stobi's oldest and most experienced ecologist
with more than 35 years of experience in wine making,
especially in phase of growing the vine in the vineyards.

domestic and international wine variants.
