Winzer Krems, one of the most significant producers of estate bottled quality wine in Austria, is
located at the gateway to the World Heritage cultural landscape of the Wachau, one of the most
beautiful stretches of river valley in Europe. The winery is owned by 981 winegrowers who grow
their grapes on 990 hectares in Krems and the surrounding wine growing regions. Hand-picked
grapes and gentle whole pressing are the key to these superb examples of Austria’s native grape
varieties.
Franz Arndorfer graduated at the famous Austrian
Institute in Klosterneuburg, followed by some
studying years in Switzerland and Vienna. He joined
Winzer Krems 1992, and soon rose to the position of
head winemaker.
Thanks to his expertise, Winzer Krems have been
awarded top scores in major international
competitions for their outstanding Riesling and
Grüner Veltliner varietals.

pepper. A dry white, light to medium bodied, it has a well-balanced crisp

Press Recommendations: "The Krems Cooperative in Niederösterreich is
renowned for dry, delicate, crisp, refreshing grüners just like this one, with its
fine, light, herb and yellow-stoned fruit-licked style."
