“Sit!” said the Butcher to Rocco as they reached
the doorway.

Rocco did as he was told as the Butcher sounded a

little stern, but then he couldn’t believe his eyes as
the Butcher tossed a juicy piece of steak up into the
air and it landed at his feet. Rocco grabbed it quickly
and swallowed it down whole. Charlie laughed as she

saw Rocco licking his lips, his eyes shining brightly.

Needless to say, stopping off at the Butchers became
a regular event. Often the local school children would

stop and watch as Rocco queued up with the other
customers at the Butchers.
