The only thing that troubled
Rocco when he and Charlie
walked up and down the
beautiful High Street was
how different he looked to
all the other doggies.
Mummy sensed that Rocco was a little anxious
around other doggies and could see him frowning.
She tried to reassure him, “Rocco you don’t need
to worry about being different. Some dogs are
called pedigree dogs and look the same as each
other, they are very expensive and are very popular.
However, you are unique, there is
no other dog like you in the
world and you, my dear
Rocco, are priceless.”
Rocco loved
Mummy’s words,
they made him
feel loved and
confident and
proud to be a
rescue dog.
