Chapter 6

A rocking day out…

Rocco and Charlie had a lovely routine. Mummy
would go to work and Charlie would arrive shortly
after and then they’d either walk up the High Street
or they’d pick up various members of the gang and

go on their adventures. Rocco would be returned
home happy and tired and he would wait for
Mummy to come home.

However, today when the gate went ‘click’ it wasn’t
just Charlie who walked through the gate to take
him out. There was another lady – she was wearing
even wilder, brighter colours than Charlie and she

had a ring in her nose, which Rocco thought was
very odd.

They had Sassie Snowdrops with them, but today

she was wearing a diamond-encrusted collar which
brought out the blue in her eyes so much that it
almost blinded him.

He had a feeling today was going to be different.
