Provided safety guard for fuel oil glow rod gauges on all DEMU DPCs

Shed has designed and provided Safety Guards for Fuel Oil Glow Rod Gauges of
DEMUs to avoid:

 Punctuality loss and Failure of DEMU service while on run
 Fire hazard from oil leakage due ballast hit.
 Loss of fuel due to ballast hit.

i) Provision of Exhaust system at Fuel Injectors & pumps overhauling
Room

Provided exhaust system at FIP Room

During the overhauling of Fuel injectors and pumps fumes of HSD oil are generated which
are harmful, if inhaled. An exhaust system was designed and fabricated for expelling
these fumes at a cost of INR 32,000/- enabling the staff to work in a fume-free
environment apart from improvement in fire safety.
