providing educational projects to large group of students. The
educational projects included storytelling, life education, caring
and sharing, training of teachers, and so on. In this way more
students would be benefitted.
Today the GIFT project would benefit thousands of secondary
and primary school students annually.
Heartbiz Project
In 2017, Yayasan again came out with another creative idea – the
Heartbiz Project. The idea was developed after about a year of
vigorous exploration, consultation and research.
We realised that the Dharma was preached by the Buddha to an
agricultural society more than 2500 years ago. Today we are
living in a modern or postmodern society where entrepreneurs
and people working for the enterprises make up the bulk of the
population. The entrepreneurs and their enterprises are having
enormous impact on the way the world is heading. We develop
the Heartbiz project to impress upon the entrepreneurs their great
social responsibility, and the positive energies they could
contribute to the world at large.
Under the Heartbiz project, we organised Heartbiz Forums to
infuse the Dharma into present day commercial enterprises. We
organised a series of Heartbiz Lectures whereby people with
exciting life stories are invited to share their life experiences,
thereby inspiring others to follow suit. We also organised
Heartbiz Tour to visit other successful social enterprises overseas.
