Hard Sealant vs. Soft Sealant
Soft sealants
➢ Nonfood contact only
(Exception: icemachines)
➢ Cannot be applied near thedeck or in technical
compartments
Hard (semihard) sealant
➢ Nonfood contact
(Can be used anywhere)
➢ Food Contact
(Must be nontoxic or food grade)
Reminder: do not apply sealant excessively. Replace if peeling or
loose.
