Podcasts which may be helpful:
• Your Anxiety Toolkit: In "Your Anxiety Toolkit," host Kimberley Quinlan, a licensed
marriage and family therapist, shares how stress and anxiety affect your life, as
well as ways to deal with it. Her podcasts range from 20 minutes to 50 minutes in
duration, and sometimes feature guest speakers. She has multiple recent episodes
that touch on anxiety around the pandemic.
• Ten Percent Happier with Dan Harris: Guests include legendary meditation
teachers -- from the Dalai Lama to Western masters -- as well as scientists, and
even the odd celebrity. But the show also ventures beyond meditation, bringing
on leading researchers in areas such as social anxiety, bias, creativity,
productivity, and relationships. The animating insight of this show is that the mind
is trainable.
• The Happiness Lab: You might think more money, a better job, or Instagram-
worthy vacations would make you happy. You’re dead wrong. In "The Happiness
Lab" podcast, Yale professor Dr Laurie Santos will take you through the latest
scientific research and share some surprising and inspiring stories that will
forever alter the way you think about happiness. She's changed the lives of
thousands of people through her class "Psychology and the Good Life," and she'll
change yours, too.
