Physical health

30 Minutes a day can improve your health

Allowing yourself 30 minutes a day to focus on
your physical well-being not only improves your

body but can also improve your mind. A brisk
walk, a 30-minute workout or popping in that

old VHS tape of ‘Sweating with the Oldies’ is an
easy to way to clear your brain, improve your
physical well-being and release the stress and

     anxiety you may be feeling.

        Fuel for energy

Think about how you feel after you eat a healthy snack, paying close attention to how you
        feel when eating certain foods.

        • Eat light and eat often – never go more than 4 hours without eating!
        • Staying well-hydrated is also critical in maintaining regular energy levels. It can also
prevent over-eating as hunger is often a sign that you are dehydrated (your body is
looking for any ways to get you to take in water).

        Did you know?
Eating a small portion (100-150 calories) of low glycemic snacks (food high in complex

carbohydrates, protein and unsaturated fat) every 3 hours helps increase your energy,
patience, and productivity, while reducing tiredness and irritability.
