5) You are not only a poet, but also an activist. What kind

of issues do you stand up for? Yes, that’s correct. I tend to stand up for the underdog,

shine a light on extreme darkness and I recently started a campaign/petition on line to
protect children from paedophile priests in the Catholic Church. This campaign and
petition has one of my outspoken poems “BEASTS & PRIESTS” at the heart of it which

addresses what I consider to be a completely unacceptable issue that has been going on
way too long and the Catholic Church need to be taken to task and put an end to this

despicable abuse of children. Currently, the Catholic Church is using the “seal of
confession” as a means to protect paedophile priests! I am campaigning to have that
seal of confession broken in the instances where priests are found to be molesting and

sexually abusing children and confess but are protected! I have corresponded with a
counsellor and psychotherapist who has worked with victims of this horrific abuse and

the victims are told that it’s their fault, as the devil got into the victims and made the
priests commit the abuse! This is not just unacceptable it is horrific and has to stop! This
is why there are so many paedophiles in the Catholic Church that inflict this abuse on

children because it is supported and hidden from the world. This calls to question the
use of confession and completely undermines the Catholic religion, because one

wonders that if paedophiles are protected by the dirty trump card known as the “seal of
confession” then are murderers, rapists - and all criminals for that matter – protected
and not handed over to the relevant police and authorities to be taken to court and

prison for their crimes having confessed them?
